A meeting with the gender trainer

The Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy carried out the first meeting of the "Young Women Advocate" project. With the gender trainer, "Nahed Abu Tamiya,"

The training was attended by a number of young women interested in women's issues and the media. The meeting revolved around several themes.

The most important of them was learning to make a link between the person, the family, and the community for the ability to communicate in a healthy way, and that was done by knowing how the other party thinks, what its causes are, and how it can be changed.

The meeting also included introductions to define gender, such as knowing the difference between the physical differences between the sexes and the gender differences that may be built on the basis of the thoughts and culture of the surrounding environment.
