Freedoms in Bedouin Society

Within the "Musawa" project, the Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy implemented an initiative entitled: "Freedoms in Palestinian Bedouin Communities", by visiting a number of Palestinian Bedouin communities in Arab Al-Ka'abneh and Ras Al-Ain, which are located near the city of Jericho.

This initiative came with the aim of solidarity with the Palestinian citizens in the Jordan Valley, and supporting their steadfastness in general and the steadfastness of Palestinian women in particular, in addition to getting to know more about their concerns and the challenges they face, especially the absence of freedom of movement in their places of residence, the absence of a minimum level of services, and the shrinking social space enjoyed by women.
